Reading: Hinsdale house an American haunting

Hinsdale House an America Haunting by Daniel Klaes

My rating: 1 of 5 stars

I really wanted to like this book, and I bought this specifically because it sounded like it was the most well rounded book out there about this place. It seemed like it would be a good time reading it, proclaimed ghost hunters and a well documented haunting.
Alas, this book is a piece of shit, sorry not sorry. Not only is it formattet (i have the kindle version, not sure if it’s like that in the paper edition) so it’s actually a damn chore to read, long run on sentences where the words are together, sortoflikethis. And for some reason the word EMF is randomly stuck into to words like EMFotional.
And a personal thing for me was that the part told by Christopher Saint Booth, painted him like the biggest douchebag – I don’t know him, he might be a giant self important jerk, but it seemed super out of place and not nessesary in a book that is supposed to be about a haunting, not starstruck fans.
All in all I am super dissapointed, and the author really needs to send his work through an editor – even when it’s a cashgrab.
